Horizontal Reservation:

• Physically Handicapped/Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 5%
• Dependent of Freedom Fighters (FF): 2%
• Ex-servicemen/Wards of Armed Forces Personnel: 2%
• Women Candidates: A percentage of seats are reserved as per state guidelines.

Proof of Category:

Candidates claiming reservation must provide valid category certificates issued by the competent authority in Uttar Pradesh.

Domicile Requirement:

Only candidates with Uttar Pradesh domicile are eligible for reservations under the state policy.

Income-Based Conditions (for OBC and EWS):

• OBC candidates must belong to the non-creamy layer.
• EWS candidates must provide proof of income as per state norms.

Unfilled Reserved Seats:

If reserved seats remain vacant due to non-availability of eligible candidates, they will be converted into general category seats as per the directives of the Uttar Pradesh government.

Merit-Based Allotment:

Reserved category candidates are also eligible for admission under the general category if they meet the merit criteria.

Quota Management:

Admissions are conducted strictly following the seat matrix provided by the affiliating university or higher education authorities
