Fee Refund Policy
1. Objectives
The objective of this policy is to align the institution’s fee refund framework with the guidelines provided by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to ensure transparency and fairness in addressing refund requests.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all students who withdraw their admission from Jagannath Singh Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Gajner, Kanpur Dahat, Uttar Pradesh, for the academic session [2024-25].
3. General Guidelines
The refund of fees will be processed based on the following conditions:
Timeframe for Withdrawal and Refund :
Up to 15 days before the formally notified last date of admission:
100% refund of the total fees paid, deducting a maximum of ₹1,000 as a processing charge.
Within 15 days before and up to 15 days after the formally notified last date of admission:
90% refund of the total fees paid
Between 16 to 30 days after the formally notified last date of admission:
50% refund of the total fees paid
After 30 days from the formally notified last date of admission:
No refund will be provided.
Non-refundable Components :

The admission fee, if applicable, is non-refundable.

Other specific charges, such as hostel and mess fees, may be refunded on a prorated basis, subject to usage and policy.

4. Procedure for Requesting a Refund
The student must submit a written request for a refund along with the following documents:
The refund request should be addressed to the [Admissions Office/Registrar].
Refunds will be processed within [30] working days from the date of receipt of a complete application.

In case of any disputes, the decision of the Jagannath Singh Kanya Mahavidyalaya management shall be final.
