Right to Information - Designation of PIO and FAA
In accordance with the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005, the following officers are designated to facilitate the disclosure of information and the appeal process related to requests for information under the Act:
1. Public Information Officer (PIO)
The Public Information Officer (PIO) is responsible for receiving and processing requests for information under the RTI Act. The PIO will provide relevant information to applicants, ensuring compliance with the Act.

In case of dissatisfaction with the response provided by the PIO, the First Appellate Authority (FAA) can be approached. The FAA reviews appeal filed against the decisions of the PIO and ensures that the applicant’s concerns are addressed as per the RTI Act.
